Seconds and Surplus Shipping Policy

 

Order Processing

Most orders are fulfilled within a few hours. However, large or special orders may require additional time. Once your order is ready, you will receive a call or email from our store to confirm pickup or delivery details.

 

In-Store Pick-Up

We have multiple locations to serve you! Select your preferred store at checkout for easy order pickup. Same-day pick-up is available daily from 8am to 7pm Monday through Saturday. Please Note: Large or special orders may not be available same day. Iron doors and slabs will not be loaded after 4:30pm. Slabs will not be loaded in rainy or wet conditions. Once your order is ready, you will receive a call or email from our store to confirm pickup details. Please remember to bring your order confirmation and a valid ID.

 

Local Delivery

During checkout, enter your address and choose the shipping option. Click the "continue to shipping" button. If the local delivery option does not show up during checkout, your order is not eligible for local delivery.

 

  • Area: We offer local delivery within a 50-mile radius from our store to the delivery address.
  • Cost: $149.99. Orders of $50 or more will generate a quote and the customer will be responsible for the difference.  An additional charge may apply on orders exceeding a 50-mile radius or requiring more than 2 delivery drivers. No minimum purchase required.
  • Same Day Delivery: Same-day delivery may be possible, depending on availability. Once you’ve completed your purchase, please contact your local store to make a request.
  • Online Weekend Deliveries: Deliveries are scheduled Monday through Friday, as weekend deliveries are generally not available. This ensures we can provide the best possible service in case any issues arise.

Timing:

Local deliveries are scheduled Monday through Friday during the hours of 8am to 5pm. Orders placed online after 5pm or on weekends will be processed the following business day.

Tracking: Our local store will contact you to coordinate a convenient delivery time and date.

 

Nationwide Shipping

For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • Carriers: We ship via FedEx, Estes, Old Dominion, and T-Force to all 50 states.
  • Cost:
    • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and are based on the product origin, freight class, pallet count, size, and weight.
    • Timing: Most orders arrive within 7-14 business days. Please note that delivery times may be longer for oversized or heavy items.
    • Tracking: Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email from our store to confirm delivery details.
    • Oversized Items: Additional shipping fees may apply for oversized or heavy items. You will be notified of any extra charges before your order is processed.

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping at this time.

 

Refund, Return, and Exchange Policy

Refunds

Refunds require the original sales receipt and are given within 90 days of purchase of merchandise. If the return exceeds $200, we’ll send you a check from our corporate office. No refunds or exchanges are allowed for damaged items, clearance items, cut goods (such as carpet, vinyl, etc.), or Spend Less Express items.

 

Out-Of-The-Box Returns

Items returned without original packaging are subject to a 20% reduction in the refund amount. Items must be in otherwise good condition. The original sales receipt is required.

 

Shipping and Returns

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. We will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return. If you are returning an item, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Damaged or missing products will not be accepted by Seconds and Surplus.

 

Lost or Damaged Packages

In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at nrivas@secondsandsurplus.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
